Now hiring skilled labor Job Description: PME is currently looking to hire individuals who have the desire and willingness to learn the manual machinist trade and how to repair Babbitt bearings. It has been my experience that the best employees are those that are willing to put in the hard work, are reliable, and have the desire to learn. What we have to offer at PME is a career and not just a job. Some of our best machinists have come from mechanical, trade or welding backgrounds. They were not manual machinists prior to working at PME. We are willing to hire a candidate with little to no background in machining but who demonstrates the willingness and aptitude of learning a new trade. We have several machinists on staff that have worked their way up the ladder and are now making over six figure incomes annually. They did not start making this type of money; however, through years of training and hard work they accomplished this tremendous goal. Minimum qualifications: • High school diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum 2.5 GPA • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and basic math test • Willingness to work both dayshift and nightshift Starting Pay: - $16 - $20 per hour based on experience
