Transportation Help for foster kid now in college

Hello there.. So I was a foster parent about 8 years ago, and had done it for sometime before that. There is a boy I did respite care for who is one of several kids I have stayed in contact with and continue to encourage, who is in some need. I know this is a stretch, and I do not necessarily expect more replies than heckles for the post... but I am throwing some wishes and dreams into the wind, and seeing if anything blows back. He is now almost 23, black, gay, and working at the Dollar Tree to put himself through college. By next year in June he will have his Bachelors in Psychology and hopes to go on to Grad School for his masters in Psychology. He works full time, and is in school, and in spite of all his life's hard ships is getting straight A's and has even made the Dean's list 2 times. He is amazing and full of integrity! Recently, he has been getting discouraged, in spite of his grades, because he is so tired. He has no transportation, so everything is busses, and now in fall he is throwing the 1st required internship into the mix, which means less time to make money at the Dollar Tree, so less income, but more schooling and travel. It breaks my heart and I do not want him to give up! He starts his first school required internships this September, and I have been saving up money to get him "work clothing" on September 4th. We have a "make over day", to get him ready for the pro work force. Right now he definitely dresses like a poor college kid who works in retail. He is excited to have the make over. But, I stopped being a foster parent years ago to to a chronic auto immune disease, I am disabled, and can only help so much. He is fatigued and needs transportation. I just cannot pull enough in on my disability budget to assist on this piece. So, I am trying to see if someone has an old beater. It only needs to run. I know he could afford liability insurance, and if he cannot, I will find a way to assist him with the payments on it. There are really only 2 ways this can happen: Someone outright donates a cheap beater, or accepts payments from me of $25 a month until it is paid off. There is no part of this little post that can not be fact checked, we can prove every element to a donor from his foster care, to schooling, place of work, grades, you name it. The question is, is there someone out there with a car they could part with, for a good cause, for an incredible young man, who is struggling but STRIVING to be goodness on this earth? He will make an INCREDIBLE therapist considering all he has been through, and amazes me daily. HE IS KIND AND GRATEFUL. If you can help... please let me know.
