Wire-tying / Welding Worker for Rebar

Pottstown / Philadelphia based construction services company looking to hire a self-motivated, experienced welder and/or wire tying expert to assist with rebar projects. Work will be conducted mainly indoors at our commercial warehouse. Our Wire-Tying / Welding Worker for Rebar role is hourly and at-will -- compensation based on experience. The ideal candidate will have… - At least 5 years of experience in welding and/or wire-tying rebar for commercial construction projects. - Experience with welding (preferably MIG) - Experience with wire-tying rebar - Strong familiarity with rebar and concrete construction best-practices and methodologies. - A positive attitude, and experience working with diverse teams; willing to be a team player. - Relevant references available upon request. - A valid Driver's License and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. More Details: - Valid OSHA 30 training required. - Ability to communicate effectively verbally. - Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, product/material installation instructions, and engineering/architectural drawings a plus. - Experience interfacing with and operating a digital rebar inventory management system; ASA or equivalent a plus. - Trained on a rebar shear line, bar bender, and bar-wiser a plus.
