Construction company is seeking an experienced layout engineer for high-rise concrete construction to join our team. All of our employees enjoy competitive pay, medical, dental and vision insurance. The applicant must be willing to start immediately. The work is primarily in Arlington Virginia. The applicant must have a minimum of three years’ experience. We operate a drug-free workplace. References required Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to operate TRANSIT and LASER Ideal applicant is self-motivated and goal oriented Must be able to read plans and lead a 2-3 person crew Transfer column and control lines from plans to the structure Locate and layout beams, walls, shafts, etc. Coordinate with MEP subcontractors and concrete crew Must be able to work overtime when required Good written and verbal skills Bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus but not necessary Perform all activities in accordance with the Occupational Safe and Health Administration's regulations Attend weekly safety meetings every Tuesday using job specific topics
