Description

I am going to be brutally honest and this pains my heart but I have to do this. I am looking to rehome my truly amazing pitbull/lab pup. He is 9 weeks old and we have had him for 2 weeks. He is as well mannered as a pup can be, however, my daughter kept picking him up while he was in a deep sleep and held him in awkward positions so he has started to growl at her when she tries to pick him up. Despite my efforts to teach her how to correctly handle a puppy he has imprinted this association with her and growls when she tries to pet him (not all of the time) I'm afraid that this will remain his association with her throughout his life. And I just can't take that risk. It breaks my heart. He truly is an amazing pup and deserves a great life with the right people. I do believe he needs strong leaders or he will challenge to dominate which is what I think is the case with my daughter. She is 9. I have started to obedience train him and he is doing wonderful. He is eager to work and does very well in our training sessions. He is also current on his vaccines and has a perfect bill of health. He is on heartgard and nexgard. I am asking a $50 rehoming fee and a brief questionnaire. Serious and experienced dog owner inquires only please. Thank you. (More pictures upon request)
