my name is Matt. I’ve been playing guitar just about my whole life with some light instruction early on. Mostly play by ear. Starting up lessons with a really good old jazz guitarist next month. I can play the guitar, rhythm and lead, bass, sing, write music, collaborate etc. my goal is to integrate in to the Austin music community. I need to meet drummers, keyboardist, horn players, percussion, just about everything. my styles range from blues, jazz, jazz fusion, progressive rock, funk, interesting intelligent music. I idolize all the old grade artists they were slowly losing, but so many great up-and-coming young people. Mono neon, Cory Wong, snarky puppy, ghost note, weather report, King Crimson etc. I could go on forever, Hope you get the idea. I work seven days a week and use all of my free time to play music. I can support myself and my equipment. Right now all my gear is very portable but will eventually invest into some Better quality gear. Not trying to say too much, I’ve written these things about 1000 times. Just shoot me an email, text, I’ll swing through try it out if it works great if not so be it. I don’t have any recordings or anything to show you, just my word. I can show up, put the time in on the instrument, hard worker. Looking for experienced players, can’t get better unless I play with people who are better than me.
