About the Receiver position: Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties. * Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents. * Records factors causing goods to be returned. * Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage. * Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing. Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
