Dexter needs a forever home

**Re-positng** we've been trying to work with Dexter hoping that he'd become more patient with the children and other animals and we've tried to work with our little ones to be gentle. Dexter still growls and bears his teeth at our 3 & 7 year olds when they try to pet him. Please help us find a forever home for Dexter! We don't want him to end up at the pound. Dexter is otherwise, a very sweet 4 year old corgi/lab mix. He has a cool scar on the left side of his face from an apparent car accident when he was young. Housetrained, polite walker (loves his morning walk and stays right by my side!) And he will bring you an empty bowl if he eats the last of his food. Unfortunately, he needs to be in a home without young children at all. He is nervous around them and acts very defensively. He may tolerate another dog but he's not a fan of cats. He would be a wonderful companion for a single adult, a couple or a family with older teens. Shot record, microchipped and neutered. Small rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home.
