Alais Property Care & Repair is a locally owned and family operated company located on the island of Kauai.  We provide cleaning services for Short Term Vacation Rentals on the south shore. We are seeking Vacation Rental Cleaners to join our team! We provide on the job training and pay on a weekly basis.  All our cleaners are independent contractors (1099 contractors). As a contractor, you are expected to bring your own cleaning equipment and supplies( ex: vacuum, mop, all purpose cleaner (409), bleach, duster, cleaning rags, stainless steel cleaner). Job Description: Cleaning Vacation Rentals in the Poipu area. 15-30 hours a week. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to): Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times while on the job. Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms. Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilets, cleans mirrors, sinks and walls in order to have clean and sanitary guest restrooms. Washes all hard floor areas to remove dirt and soiled areas. Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs. Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh, checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness, replacing if soiled. Coordination and organization of laundry deliveries Inventory of housekeeping supplies Vacuums rooms, operating vacuums weighing up to 35lbs., and lifting/moving heavy furniture Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities (provided) You will need a reliable vehicle as you will be driving to the units. A reliable smartphone and email address is also required as we use app based scheduling software. Qualifications: Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or condos - Preferred but not required Able to lift up to 30 lbs. - Required Able to stand for long periods of time in excess of 2 hours without sitting. Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - Preferred Strong attention to detail - Required Reliable transportation. Will need to travel to office to pickup supplies (when needed) ​​​​​​​
