Description

4 sweet ferrets for rehoming with all accessories (Orange Park, FL area) Rehoming Fee: $300.00. Please do not contact me if you have no experience keeping ferrets....and I don't know why people keep flagging my past for removal. This is a real post and I'm looking for a new home for my ferrets. I live in the Orange Park / Middleburg, FL area. I am looking to rehome my ferret flock and all of their accessories. They are absolutely loved and cared for, but that is the reason I am looking to rehome. I recently got a new job that forces me to work 14-16 hours a day and do not have time to spend with them as they deserve. 3 of the ferrets are approximately a year old - 1 sable tuxedo (male,) 1 dark sable (female,) 1 chocolate (male) 1 ferret is approximately 3-4 years old (he is deaf) - black eyed white (male) ****The female does tend to lick, lick bite on your hands and arms but it's not too bad. If you just redirect her, she's fine. The boys are all very, very sweet and do not nibble/bite. They are all Marshall's ferrets (fixed/descented).**** Food: They currently eat kibble (Wysong free feed mix - all flavors from the vendor, 25% Epigen, 75% mixes of the others) and 1x daily reconstituted freeze dried raw Stella and Chewys. Do not take these guys if you're not willing to continue to feed them the same food or similar. Ferrets imprint on their food and it's very difficult to move them to something new (Marshall's food is horrible). These foods are fairly expensive and it costs about 60-80 per month to feed them (higher cost in the winter months). I have about 2-3 weeks worth of food I'll include. Cage and freedom: They are free roam 100% in a dedicated room with the cage open. They mostly use the cage for sleeping. They are accustomed (potty trained) to using the full size Marshall's litter boxes with pine pellets from Tractor Supply. Their cage is a Ferreplast model (2 story with tubes). I'm including a 40 pound bag of litter and the sifter that is used to sift out the urine dust after scooping the poop. If you don't need a cage, that's fine. I will send them with you in a more portable cage. Accessories: These guys have a ton of hammocks, blankets, tubes, misc. ferret stuff. They drink from a large heavy crock water bowl that will be included. No water bottles as they ruin teeth and restrict water intake. We are in the Orange Park / Middleburg area and cannot meet if you need the big cage (cage is too cumbersome to take apart). You will 100% need a truck or a very large vehicle to take everything with you. If you don't need the cage, I can meet you at a mutual location nearby in a smaller more transportable cage.
