We're rapidly expanding our reach throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan and looking for one of our first development hires to drive new location expansion. Position Overview Your primary mission is to ensure Blank Street carts are fitted out with hardware, inspection ready, and in perfect operational order at all times in the field. This role is a hands-on, commissary based position that requires diligence, speed, and exceptional problem solving skills. Responsibilities - Support on cart construction and MEP fit-outs - Closely manage preferred 3rd party services including fabricators, electrical, and plumbing - Ensure carts are ready to launch on time - Ensure carts are fitted out on spec and in optimal functioning order - Ensure equipment and fittings are installed successfully, on time and dialed in correctly - Maintain optimal cart functionality at all times both within Blank Street commissary and out in the field - Problem solving over the phone or on the field - Perform repairs on carts that could include breaking down and refurbishing them - Work closely with commissary management team to keep projects on track Experience - 3+ years working hands-on in construction, hardware, or other related mechanical fields - You thrive in extremely fast-paced, high pressure environments - You must be efficient with construction tools and general assembly - You have the ability to think outside the box and problem solve on the fly - You have a proven track record in managing timelines, budgets, and hitting targets - Ideally you have a drivers license
