My fish seems sick for a couple days and I don’t know what to do. Another fish die recently and changed the water because usually when one dies produces ammonia and could get other fish sick. I have checked my ammonia and seems fine. I don’t know what’s wrong with him. In the tank there is also two red jewels cichlids and they seem to be fine. My Oscar used to swim all over my tank, now is literally laying on the bottom. Any suggestions? I don’t have an extra tank to heal him. Maybe is sad because the other one die? I’m willing to give him away if someone wants to try to save him. He is a good 4 inches the other two cichlids are about 2-3 inches. Im keeping my tank. I may get different type of fish. Im looking for information to heal him or if someone wants to take him is fine too.
