The JCC is seeking a Night Custodian to work Mondays through Fridays. For the right candidate, the JCC is open to considering those interested in full time (3 PM – 11:59 PM) or part time (early evenings) work. These days and hours are subject to change and there is the opportunity for more responsibility if earned and warranted. Health benefits, paid sick days, and vacation days are available after a grace period. The night custodian will be responsible for cleaning various room types in a commercial establishment that includes children’s, fitness, swimming and elderly program activities. In addition to the cleaning duties, the evening custodian may be expected to perform other related work as required, in an effort to provide students, members and staff with safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient facility in which to learn, enjoy and teach. Candidates should have experience and knowledge of cleaning methods and be receptive to further instruction regarding the appropriate type of chemicals to use in different situations and the appropriate methods to use them in our facility. Previous candidates found identified on craigslist have gone on to earn significant salary increases and have worked their way up in to more supervisory roles. There is opportunity for raises and growth at this job.
