Rice noodle bowls are an everyday meal in Vietnam. In this class, we will make noodle bowls with fried vegetable spring rolls. You will learn how to mix, wrap, and shallow fry spring rolls. You’ll also learn to make basic Vietnamese condiments like do chua (pickles), mo hanh (scallion oil), and nuoc mam (fish sauce), and get a sampling of the fresh, vibrant, herbaceous flavors common in Vietnamese cooking. With the exception of the fish sauce, the entire meal is gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan. We hope that you’ll leave this class inspired to explore the variety of Vietnamese and other Southeast Asian restaurants in Columbus.
