Maintain the sanitary condition of a Food Processing Facility (Interior /Exterior)
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize food processing equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble of processing equipment.
• Maintain building and grounds in neat, and clean condition.
• Organization of stock, chemicals, waste, warehouse, and storage areas.
• Understand the Standard Operating Procedures and Inspection Regulations
• Handling of waste, chemicals and debrises.
• It is the responsibility of this position to be aware and actively participate in activities aimed at maintaining and improving the food safety and food quality of our products.
Overview:
• Full-Time
• Earning potential up to $14/hour
Job Requirements
• Must be able to read, write, and speak some English
• Capability to complete follow-up forms and prepare facility for inspections.
• Ability to consistently up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand 8 - 10 hours a day in a cold environment.
• Able to control inventory of chemical, cleaning materials, utensils, cleaning and protective personal equipment.
• Previous experience in food processing and food safety knowledge.
• Availability to work weekends
• Manage of Forklift preferred (optional).
• Bilingual (optional).
