SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY! Art of Living Retreat Center is looking for a full-time year-round Lead Grounds & Landscaping person. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving site grounds campus wide. Responsibilities of the job will include but will not be limited to the following: • During the Spring and Summer months: mowing, weed trimming, mulching of flower beds, leaf removal, tree trimming & pruning, and general ground, and landscaping maintenance, keep walking trails clear • During the Fall and Winter months: salting, snow, & ice removal etc. • Will operate various types of equipment including power mowers, saws, weed eaters, trimmers, sprayers, etc. • Will clean and upkeep sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, etc. • Will perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on lawn equipment and tools. At least 3 years’ experience in grounds keeping preferred also must have a working knowledge of grounds keeping principals and power landscape equipment. Requires frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, moving, carrying, pushing & pulling of over 50lbs. Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures.
