Manu is a long-haired mixed breed cat that was surrendered to a rescue by his previous owner. I am currently fostering him, but my own cat really doesn't like other cats in the house. My situation is not ideal for long-term fostering, so I am looking for someone to take him in (adoption or long-term fostering).
Here is some more about him, and I'll put the things that might stop you up front:
-He is a long-haired breed, and requires daily brushing; there is a lot of hair, but he likes being brushed.
-He is very skinny, so you would have to pay extra attention to his diet in order to help him gain weight;
-The rescue requires an adoption fee of $150. This will cover costs of fostering and a vet checkup.
-He's a little crossed eyed
-I don't know how he fares with other cats since my cat is aggressive.
Aside from what's listed above, he is a very sweet boy. Food motivated and eager to earn treats so you can definitely train him to do tricks. He has a healthy appetite, and bowel movements are all normal. Ok with sitting on a lap. Started purring next to me immediately.
If you do want to adopt/foster him, get in touch and I'll do anything to help with the transition. I do want him to go to a nice home, so I'll be asking a lot of questions and probably will end up visiting where you live. Any adoption contract will be between you and the rescue, and we do follow up once the adoption/fostering is finalized.
