Join ValleyCAST at the Whitin Mill for our 12th Annual Free Summer Concert Series every Thursday evening from 6-8 PM | July 1st - Sept 2nd Grab your most comfortable lawn chair, your favorite peeps and your dancing shoes and join us out on the Dennis H. Rice Community Plaza for our 12th Annual Free Summer Concert Series every Thursday night from July 1 through September 2, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM. This year's incredible line-up includes a wide variety of music from bands we've enjoyed in the past and some new bands! Rock n' Roll, Big Band, Country, Folk, Bluegrass, Classic R&B, Funk, Reggae, Blues, and even a Symphony Orchestra! This week, we welcome the Michelle Canning Band! Michelle Canning was just 8 years old the day her grandfather put a banjo in her arms and in that moment, she knew she’d found her anchor. She hasn’t looked back. A singer-songwriter with Massachusetts roots, Michelle makes her home in Nashville, TN where she divides her time between performing, recording, writing, teaching banjo, and as a guide at the Grand Ole Opry. Whether wrapped in blue velvet and satin, or simple jeans and a shirt, Michelle sparkles with passion for the music that fuels her soul.
