Join ValleyCAST at the Whitin Mill for our 12th Annual Free Summer Concert Series every Thursday evening from 6-8 PM | July 1st - Sept 2nd Grab your most comfortable lawn chair, your favorite peeps and your dancing shoes and join us out on the Dennis H. Rice Community Plaza for our 12th Annual Free Summer Concert Series every Thursday night from July 1 through September 2, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM. This year's incredible line-up includes a wide variety of music from bands we've enjoyed in the past and some new bands! Rock n' Roll, Big Band, Country, Folk, Bluegrass, Classic R&B, Funk, Reggae, Blues, and even a Symphony Orchestra! This week, we welcome Le'Mixx Band! Le' Mixx is an eight piece band with over 30 years experience between its eclectic mix of members. Their talented musicians have worked with artists such as Ray, Goodman & Brown, Grand Master Flash, Babatunde Olanntunji, Black Ivory, Betty Wright, the Five Satins and more. They have also shared the stage with artists like Kool & the Gang, Dizzy Gillespie, Cameo, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, The Count Basie Orchestra, Tower of Power, The Emotions, Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Average White Band, War and more. https://lemixxband.com/ In the event of inclement weather the concert will move indoors to the Singh Performance Center in the same Mill Complex.
