Gather a picnic, pack a lawn chair or blanket and join in as we bring music to The Gardens at Elm Bank. Catch up with a friend or stroll through the gardens while listening in on the sounds of the evening. Reserve your entry ticket for Thursday August 19th as we host noted soprano Jennifer Caraluzzi from Boston Opera Collaborative starting at 7pm. Hailed by Opera Today as a “polished, soaring soprano,” Jennifer Caraluzzi is an award-winning vocalist who has appeared with The Boston Pops, Opera Theatre St. Louis, White Snake Projects, Boston Opera Collaborative, and many others. Known for her versatility across musical genres, Jennifer has sung the roles of Laurie in Oklahoma, Marty in Grease, Toffee in Zombie Prom, and Polly in The Boyfriend, as well as standard operatic favorites like Cunegonde in Candide, Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. A regular performer with Boston Opera Collaborative, Jennifer has appeared as Stephanie in Jake Heggie’s To Hell and Back and in several short world premieres as part of the company’s Opera Bites festivals. Jennifer is featured in the title role on the critically acclaimed recording of Seymor Barab’s children’s opera, Little Red Riding Hood on Centaur Records. She holds a Master’s in Music degree from the New England Conservatory and recently completed her MBA in Music Business from Berklee College of Music and Southern New Hampshire University. Boston Opera Collaborative offers fresh opera experiences that put our audiences in close contact with the power of the human voice. Our year-round performance calendar features Boston’s brightest young talent in energetic and intimate productions of repertoire ranging from canon favorites to Boston premieres. Garden entrance is allowed starting at 6pm. Restrooms and a bottle refill station available on-site. As always, please no dogs.
