Description

Circuit Hacking Night is just about every Wednesday night, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM - please sign up for tickets so we know to expect you! Come play with electronics at Artisan's Asylum! Whether you're a newbie or an experienced hacker, there will be something for you at Circuit Hacking Night. This one night the electronics & robotics lab will be open for FREE -- there will be a free introductory soldering lesson, electronics kits on hand for sale for those who wish to make things, and experienced hackers and engineers around to answer all your questions. Feel free to bring your own projects to work on if you have them! The proceeds of all sales and donations will go directly towards funding maintenance and improvements in the Electronics & Robotics lab of Artisan's Asylum: to buying new equipment, keeping consumables in stock, and towards general upkeep. Class Goals: To learn how to solder, to work on your electronics projects, and to spend time with other hackers and makers. Prerequisites: Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Materials: There will be an assortment of kits available for sale on site from Asylum members, Adafruit, Sparkfun, and Evil Mad Science. Instructor Biography: Andrew Anselmo is a consulting engineer and a member of Artisan's Asylum, one of the biggest maker spaces in the US, and has worked on many different controls, instrumentation, and automation projects for industry as well as in the arts.
