Rosslyn Rivals: Cornhole is here on Wednesdays this summer! What's summertime without a little friendly competition? Our popular Rosslyn Rivals series is back with the first-ever Rosslyn Rivals: Cornhole Tournament! Gather your team of champs and join us on Wednesdays this summer, beginning July 14 through August 18. Participation is free and open to all ages (and skill levels!). Maximum 4 people per team and you must register in advance via Eventbrite. Check-in begins each event day at 5:30 p.m. and games will end around 8 p.m. Teams are welcome to come back and participate each week of the series. And if you're not on a team, you're welcome to come support your friends and family from the sidelines! Ask the bartender to help you place a to-go order from the restaurant, which you can bring onsite to enjoy between games! Each week, a new tournament bracket will be created based on the number of participants and teams on a first come, first served basis. At the end of the evening, the top 2 teams will win exciting prizes from local restaurants! Each week, the winners will take home gift cards to a different featured local restaurant, with $30 gift cards for the 1st place team (per person) and $15 gift cards for the 2nd place team (per person). As a bonus, participants will receive a free drink token at check-in to redeem at participating Rosslyn restaurants, good until 9 p.m. the day of the event. (Note that tokens are valued at $11 each, and you must be 21+ to redeem for alcoholic beverages.) Participating restaurants include: Continental Pool Lounge & Beer Garden, 1911 Fort Myer Dr Nando’s PERi-PERi, 1800 N Lynn St #100Taco Rock, 1501 Wilson BlvdOpen Road, 1201 Wilson Blvd Suite 213 (Find the entrance on Central Place Plaza)COST: FREE + Open to all Ages & Skill Levels GENERAL RULES: Visit our general rules page to understand the basics, and note each week rules will be adjusted to make sure the games and tournament stay on time. Hand sanitizing options will be available onsite, and all guests that are not fully vaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Additionally, do not attend if you or anyone in your household is currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
