Episode 1: September 8thOverview of parenting a struggling young person including understanding of typical vs. problem behaviors, including crisis responses and when professional help is recommended. Goal: Understand how a biological predisposition to emotional dysregulation and an invalidating social environment create a mindset that now distorts all interactions, including loving, validating interactions and turns anxiety / depression into a self-loathing (shame) cycle.
