Hiring immediately APPLY IN PERSON with resume at Motor Mart. 10-5, M-F We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to repair, rewind, maintain and sell electric motors and miscellaneous equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing/rewinding/maintaining and/or replacing electric motors, pumps, fans, and various other electrical equipment. An excellent mechanic must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work with various equipment, tools and people as well as follow all safety precautions. Responsibilities - Customer service – Counter and phone sales - Shipping and Receiving - Rewinding - Bench Work – electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair - Keep logs on work and report any issues Skill - Mechanical and electrical aptitude - Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and their components - Aptitude with hand/power/pneumatic tools and precision measurement tools\ - Basic Computer Skills – Microsoft Excel - Ability to learn, follow procedures/practices and read/follow instructions - Strong commitment to health and safety guidelines - Very good communication skills - Strong problem solving ability and drive - Good physical strength and stamina - Positive attitude and good work ethic - High School Diploma or more is preferred - Expected to work 8-5 Monday threw Friday AND overtime as required
