We took it apart to move into a bigger place 4 months ago and, with the rent prices out there, won't be able to size up after all. I just don't have space to have a real bed in this apartment.
It was given to us used, I used it, and then the kids used it. It is originally white and gold. I spray painted it black. It definitely has scratches and some stickers from the kids left on it.
I was missing a couple nuts and 1 bolt the last time I put it together for the kids, but it stayed together just fine like that-- even with the toddler jumping on it!
All the hardware attached in a ziploc baggy though. Need an allen wrench and regular wrench to put together. It's only the frame- no mattresses. Nice sturdy frame made back when things were meant to last! Twin size.
It's at the corner of the alley and Ash street, right across the street from the bright gold Taco Vado stand a couple blocks north of Maxwell Ave.
I will take this down once it finds a new home. Which I hope it does! I really wish we could keep it but I need more space for making art and dancing and ordered myself a roll-up floor mattress thus.
Enjoy. Make it your own.
