At the Rugid Grind coffee workshop, we’ll take you through the entire life of coffee, from seed to sip. 12 BILLION pounds of coffee is consumed annually around the world. A center piece for breakfast, meetings, or any other type of gathering, coffee is also the most complex beverage. In this workshop, we’ll take you through the entire life of coffee, from seed to sip. We will also tell our story of how we came into the coffee business and our driving mission. So come ready to try a variety of coffees! Food will also be provided! This workshop will start with an introduction of coffee, where it comes from, and how each farming and cultivating process delivers a different taste. Then we will move to the tasting where you will taste a flight of 4; 2 single origin beans, 1 nitro flavored coffee and 1 flavored cold brew coffee. We will dive into our roasting process, telling you how we choose our green beans, and how we like to approach each bean for the perfect roast. Near the end, each couple will be able to roast their own 12oz bag to take home and enjoy!
