A program aimed at giving girls in 9-12 grades a head start on their road to independence, college and career readiness. Our week long summit will help girls increase their self-efficacy, the belief in their ability to succeed. This year, we celebrate our 25th anniversary with a renewed commitment to advocacy and activism. Our summit is designed to inspire girls to ignite their power and use it to advocate for themselves and their communities. Each girl will receive an Unstoppable Activist Spark Kit aimed at giving girls the skills to engage with social justice issues. Help the girl in your life feel powerful by registering her for Pathfinder, because when they feel powerful, they are unstoppable. A week-long program full of self-discovery, goal-setting and skill building activities including networking opportunities, writing workshops, financial literacy and aide workshops, mentorship experience with Houston leaders as well as an end of Pathfinder, celebratory showcase. Additionally, each girl will receive an Unstoppable Activist Spark Kit that will help them: Strengthen their ability to explore and communicate their values and identityGrow their confidence to use their voiceGain Coping Skills to continue the lifelong work of activism Find your strengths & use them to create meaningful change.
