I am not trying to make money for only my nonprofit. I am giving back to other disadvantaged nonprofit organizations in our community.
I am not doing this event just to make money for my nonprofit. I desire to help other organizations to raise awareness about their organization. This is how we change the narrative on helping one another to grow. I wanted to show that we as a disadvantaged community can come together and "Lend A Hand Up" by working together to build upwards as a unity and not to work separately, but as a unity for our community.
This is a Nonprofit that was established to bring awareness to the community through teaching and sharing the simple message that $5.00 could have saved my son's life. Had his dad taken the time to understand the importance of water safety equipment such as water armband floaters that have been coast guard approved, my son Davante Armon Hinkle would not be a victim of a drowning accident. The funding will go towards helping children under the age of seven(7) to purchase safety equipment that is coast guard approved; pay for swimming lessons; floral arrangements in the event of a drowning accident; money towards recovery; money towards burial; food purchase for the family and to purchase food for the repass. God forbid another family should become a victim of a drowning accident. I understand how difficult it is to bury a child. The decision and determination on how to distribute the funds will be voted on by my current board. I will provide you a list of my current board and their positions, upon request. I am the head of the nonprofit entity and will be working closely with “Community Resources Counsel to handle all incoming funding for my nonprofit. Currently I am seeking any sponsorship from those who believe and understand my cause.
