Old school rock guitarist seeking bass player, drummer and singer for new world class ROCK BAND. originals and some covers, have enough material for a complete album already, lyrics and all. my goal is 5 years of dedicated hard work to complete my vision (2-3 albums of original material and touring to back it up). this is the minimum i feel i need to make my mark. this band will not be for the faint of heart, it will test you to your limits. if you can work with me to make this happen, we will ROCK on a high level. you need to be good with your instrument and dedicated. i need musicians as committed as i am to playing and creating music. i play daily, i am always writing and getting better-constantly creating. music in the vein of Van Halen, Black Sabbath, Dio, real rock music with substance. Standard or E-Flat tuning (my preference), no drop tuning. unlike everyone else on CL, if you tell me you rock, i will believe you so i am not going to ask you to provide a sample and don't ask me to provide one. in the past, people would just meet and hope for the best. that is what i want to do. if you have a rehearsal space already, that is great, if not we will worry about that later if we are compatible. i rock on a high level and my music is special. writing lyrics is not my thing, hopefully one of you has the talent. i want to bring back the energy from the late 70's and 90's that the rock music had. it doesn't exist anymore. i want to be the best NEW rock band in the world excluding obvious legends like GnR, Metallica, and Last in Line. i don't want to move to LA, i know you are out there in the Bay Area. i live in the City, but willing to drive 25-30 miles if you rock and are dedicated. i'm thinking to practice 2x a week at least 2-3 hours a session to really get it going. it won't take long for us to be tight since you are professional like me. prefer someone 35 and over to have some commonality since i am older than that.
