Thought provoking films followed by discussion and fellowship. The Wake Up Call Movie Nights is back! Bro Obafemi has been doing these for years now and it’s time he run them back! This month we will be showing Dark Girls. Light refreshments will be available and a small snack bar for guests to purchase additional snacks from. Power to the People, Inc. was created by Arkansas native, Kwaeisi Golliday, in the Spring 2017. Since then, PTTP has completed three of its planned annual events in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Going into 2018, Kwaeisi Golliday is completing the application process to further establish PTTP in the Jefferson County area. She is currently a graduate student in the Addiction Studies Program at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and has a BA in both psychology and anthropology from the University of Missouri-Columbia (May 2016). She loves the youth and wants to see the community progress and is willing to do what it takes to make sure that progression happens.
