Anyone who cares about our community can provide support and companionship to hospice patients by volunteering for Assured Hospice!! We are looking for folks who have an open mind and a big heart!! A volunteer can provide companionship to patients and families. A volunteer can help with light meal prep or light house keeping duties. A volunteer can provide active listening to patients and families A volunteer can provide a human connection to those who need it most. There are also opportunities for volunteering in the office helping with brochure assembling, admission binders or calling patients to check in. We do not require a time commitment, even an hour a week can make a difference in someone's life. No experience is required for volunteering. We provide all the necessary education and training. When we go to each patients home we are on their agenda, whatever provides them the most support and comfort is the goal for our hospice patients.
