Join us for the second annual Powerful7 Fashion Show Fundraiser with a twist, September 18th at the beautiful Events Center in Sterling, VA The evening includes the signature Powerful7 Fashion Show Fundraiser on September 18th beginning with red carpet entrance, VIP Access, black tie dealer casino tables, special guest performance by Tulani, silent auction, appetizers, special tasting by Uncle Nearest concluding with Studio D’ Maxsi’s renowned designer Afua Sam, DMV's most creative makeup company Josie's Face and the Powerful7 models are back another year with even more synergy and surprises on the runway. VIP ACCESS​- includes early 5 PM entry for a personalized tasting provided by Uncle Nearest, designer and model meet and greet while enjoying a sneak peek at the unveiling of local fine artists. ABOUT THE BENEFICIARIES ONE SPARROW Foundation Co-Founder and Executive Director, Solitaire Carroll, recognized in Loudoun County's 40 under 40 class of 2018 is a strategic development consultant, government IT contract professional, speaker, activist, and youth leader in Loudoun County. After several years of community activism and organizing in Loudoun and aboard, Solitaire established One Sparrow with her husband to help ​provide better access to education and resources which in turn provide hope, empowerment, and a sustainable future​. One Sparrow understands the importance of community partnerships that "share knowledge, resources, strengths, passion, and encouragement with families who are left feeling distraught and alone in the midst of hardship." Since 2013, One Sparrow has been successful in raising awareness locally, donating funds for durable medical equipment, basic medicine, ​education, and educational enrichment programming for hundreds of children ​whose families lack the resources. One Sparrow is a 501(c)3 organization that puts on fun, family friendly events in our local community while raising money for local and global causes. One Sparrow's core focus is to identify causes and communities that are in great need of help and love.
