All About College Applications Join the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation and Customized College Planning for a College & Career Preparation Series. The purpose of this series is to provide High School students with the information to make an informed decision regarding their path to college and careers. There are many aspects of college applications that can be confusing. Join Kalen as she discusses the Common App, college-specific applications, resumes, letters of recommendation, essays, timelines, transcripts, student interest, standardized test scores, and more. Registration is required and begins on September 11th. The Carnegie Library is one of the most historically significant structures in downtown Newnan and was built in 1904. The building served as a library until 1987 and is now a honor system library with adult and children's programs.
