MILWAUKEE, WI — Milwaukee County will require unvaccinated and vaccinated workers to wear masks in all county facilities, starting Monday. The county is following the U.S. Centers of Disease Control and Prevention's new guidance on masking. Workers will be required to wear masks when moving through a facility, using a restroom or being in other shared spaces inside a county facility, Milwaukee County Communications Director Brandon Weathersby told Patch. Fully vaccinated and unvaccinated members of the public 3 years old and up must wear face masks while inside county facilities or when receiving county services indoors, Weathersby said. This rule existed before the county made changes on July 12 and isn't expected to change, he added. Milwaukee County on July 12 said fully vaccinated workers who don't work in high risk or care facilities could work without a mask when they weren't meeting members of the public, according to county documents.
