Description

Why do most people never write the book they have in them? The first answer is fear. The second is fear. The third is fear. Fear that you don’t really have a skill to share. Fear that you don’t really have a story to share. Fear that your book will be met with indifference. Fear that you’re not really allowed to say all that you want to. Fear that you won’t really be able to write the book because, well, writing a good book is hard. The instructor has seen it all, and he has experienced it all. In this four-part series, you’ll learn how to equip yourself with the tools, resources, and community to tell your story. From discovering your story to actually start putting it down on paper to shaping it to sharing it, this class gets you launching strong. We can't promise that in four classes you're going to complete a book-length story all your own, we can promise you will have begun the launch. The series takes place on the following dates: Monday, August 30, 6 to 8 p.m.Monday, September 13, 6 to 8 p.m.Monday, September 27, 6 to 8 p.m.Monday, October 11, 6 to 8 p.m.At the Big Self School, we specialize in working with leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives. Sharing your story is a critical component to your personal and professional success. Getting started is half the battle, and this course gives you just that: the perfect excuse to finally start executing. We'll get you going, give you feedback and challenges from class to class, and help you start building that muscle to keep going and give your story the beginning, middle, and ending that is deserves. The goal is to challenge and inspire you to realize that you have a book in you, and it can be unleashed. Writing a good book takes time. We give you the techniques and a coaching community to drive it from nascent idea all the way to complete draft.
