Earn Income, Effect Change Locally and Globally, Join Rising International's Supportive Community. As a Rising Representative you will sell fair trade goods at virtual and/or in person events through an online store we set up for you. These boutique quality products are handcrafted by women artisans rising above extreme poverty, war, human trafficking, and gender based violence from around the world. Some examples of your impact! You’ll learn to sell stunning silver jewelry made by women who are vulnerable to trafficking in India, beautiful silk scarves made by women living in a remote and forgotten area of Haiti, and gorgeous baskets made by women who survived the genocide in Rwanda. This program is part of a COVID Relief grant and is free to qualifying participants in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties. You’ll learn to run your own ecommerce business. We’ll provide on-going business training, resources, business tools and even a business mentor.
