Description

GulfQuest is teaming up with the Education Curator at the Archaeology Museum at the University of South Alabama for our August GulfChat. GulfQuest Gulf Chats are informal talks featuring knowledgeable presenters discussing topics important to the maritime industry. Guests will have an opportunity for Q&A following the chat. Due to social distancing guidelines and safety protocols, seating is limited. GulfQuest on Mobile’s waterfront, is the first museum in the nation dedicated to the maritime heritage and culture of the Gulf of Mexico. Unique among museums, GulfQuest features custom built interactive exhibits which immerse you in the science, history and beauty of our seafaring heritage, encouraging you to embark on your own quest to explore maritime aspects of the Gulf of Mexico. GulfQuest has two dedicated event rooms: the Port City Room and Riverside Room on the top floor of its north end. Both rooms feature breathtaking views, with the larger Port City Room enjoying a panoramic expanse of downtown Mobile and the riverfront.
