Join OE staff for the first ever fall fishing tournament at Spencer Park! Previously held in the spring and after taking a year off, the tournament is on! All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Additionally, this year we were able to tag some fish prior to. We will have a prize for anyone lucky enough to catch one of these fish! A casting contest will be held for our younger anglers with prizes for the lucky winners. Free park entry fee for anyone who is registered for the tournament; so grab your fishing rod and tackle box and come catch some BASS! Tournament fishing goes from 3 pm to 6 pm. Appropriate for all ages. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. The City of Rochester Hill’s Parks & Natural Resources Department, through their Outdoor Engagement unit, holds multiple programs for individuals and families throughout the year that highlight the many natural offerings available.
