Good morning Connecticut, We're looking at a pretty good weather day, with sunshine and temperatures near 80 degrees. However, more thunderstorms are forecast for Thursday afternoon and evening and some may be severe, the weather service cautioned. There are two major travel issues in Connecticut Wednesday morning as of 9:30 a.m. (see full list of road work projects at the end of this post.) A box truck crash in Groton on I-95 southbound has been reported between Exits 86 and 84. The 2 left lanes are closed. In North Haven a crash on Route 15 southbound has led to the right lane being closed. COVID update for CT: Over the past 24 hours, 18,273 tests were administered and 488 came back positive (2.67% rate) 105 patients are currently hospitalized (decrease of 3). Gov.
