Jobs Available: Bucking Machine Supervisor - temporary position Location: Willow Creek, CA Pay Rate: $18 hr Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM. Reports to: Cultivation Managers Department: Cultivation Willow Creek Hiring is based on a 30-day probationary period Summary: Culture Management holds multiple cannabis licenses in Northern CA. We strive to foster a team atmosphere throughout the organization which has and will continue to help us navigate through the always changing cannabis industry supply chain. Culture Management currently has a position available in its Cultivation Department. This position is to be the supervisor of our new bucking machine, while coordinating with Cultivation Managers and their schedules. This new bucking machine is a powerful non-stop design to function under the most demanding conditions. You will feed the different size stems into the proper diameter of the machine. The stems are pushed through into a high speed blade that assists in the process of de-stemming and leaves you with just the bud at the end of the process. After that, the buds will then be sorted accordingly so that when the cannabis reaches our production department everything will have been efficiently sorted and organized for the next phase. Duties and Responsibilities: ● Coordinate with cultivation managers on harvest schedule and drying room availability as well as any assistance needed from team members in harvest process including leaf removal or hanging of product ● Monitor product for dryness/moisture level prior to running product through bucking machining or binning ● Monitor drying rooms equipment to ensure that its operating correctly and that its cleaned regularly, advise Cultivation Managers of any maintenance that is needed ● Manage the bucking machine operators schedules ● Manage the operators workflow for running the machine, including quality assurance and separation of cannabis product as needed per batch ● Ensure that the maintenance and cleaning of the bucking machine is being done regularly during shifts to ensure proper operation and longevity of the machine. ● Advise operation managers of any maintenance issues as they occur ● Accurately organize, weigh, record, and label all bins and finished batches for METRC purposes ● Report all batch weights and properly fill out the intake sheet ● Report batch data to the METRC manager in a timely fashion ● Coordinate delivery of batches between Operation managers, Production manager, and drivers ● Provide manifest with proper METRC package tags to delivery driver as well as recorded copy for on site records ● Perform additional duties as needed Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
