EAST HAVEN, CT — The East Haven Republican Town Committee nominated Sal Maltese to run as mayor at its meeting Tuesday night. Maltese, 77, has previously run for mayor four times, as a Democrat, Independent and Republican. Owner of South Shore Laundromat, he was on the Board of Finance.
