Press release from San Diego County Sheriff's Department: 07/28/2021 4:46 AM On Tuesday July 28, 2021 at approximately 2238 hours, deputies responded to the 8300 block of Broadway in the city of Lemon Grove for a report of a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.  Deputies arrived in the area and found an unidentified female pedestrian who had sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was evaluated for DUI but was determined not to be under the influence and was released at the scene. The Lemon Grove Traffic Division is handling the investigation.   Contact:  Sgt.
