FREMONT, CA — A person was shot Wednesday afternoon in Fremont, police said. The shooting was reported at 2:06 p.m. and happened on Locke Court, which is near Paseo Padre Parkway, police spokeswoman Yanneth Contrada said. The victim suffered one bullet wound, which is not considered life-threatening. Contrada said two suspects are outstanding, but police believe they have left the city.
