BURNSVILLE, MN — Independent School District 191 recently announced that it unanimously approved a two-year contract with the Burnsville Education Association July 19. The contract will run through June 30, 2023, the district said. The contract will cost $6 million extra funds compared to the 2020-21 budget, the district said. The contract will increase salaries and benefits of 600 district employees, including teachers, nurses, psychologists, counselors and other licensed educators, the district said.
