MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville Public Library's summer reading program is wrapping up with a bang, and probably some barks, this weekend. The library is hosting a pet parade Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. Says the library:"Join us to celebrate the end of Summer Reading! Patrons can introduce their pet and show a pet trick if they like. We will parade from the front of the library to our new parking lot." The event will welcome well-behaved domestic household pets only, either leashed or contained in pet carriers. No retractable leashes will be permitted. Every pet must register, organizers said. Mooresville Public Library is located at 304 S. Main Street in Mooresville.
