Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/27/2021 UPDATE: An arrest warrant has been obtained in the shooting death of 17-year-old at pool.   212051585 On Saturday July 24, 2021, at around 6:40pm officers responded to a report of a person shot at the Anderson Park pool at 100 Anderson Ave NW. On scene officers found a 17-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital but died of his wounds. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been involved in a verbal dispute with another male which escalated to gunfire. Atlanta Police Homicide detectives responded to the scene and immediately began their investigation. On Tuesday July 27, 2021, investigators were able to secure an arrest warrant for murder for a suspect in this case. The suspect remains at large and at this time, we are not releasing his identity.   Please keep in mind this is preliminary information and may change as the investigation progresses. s.
