Location: Malibu Colony Schedule: 3-4 days/week, 7:30am-3:30pm *Starting around August 12th Compensation: $35 hour++, DOE A very mellow family with 2 older kids is seeking a housekeeper to help keep the home running smoothly, and staying clean and organized. The home will need a general clean and a deep clean as needed. Laundry is done daily – towels, linens, clothing. The kids go away for school and are only home on breaks, so it is mostly just the lady of the house present. The ideal person is very sweet, and an organized self – starter with a calm, peaceful personality/demeanor. The home is very quiet and the family enjoys the calm energy – will prefer someone who knows how to read a room. We would love to find someone who is kind and enjoys being of service – is happy to make an iced tea and will always remember to say hello and goodbye. Some errands will be needed, but everything is around the corner in Malibu Colony area – groceries, post office, pharmacy, etc. Responsibilities Include: General house cleaning Some food prep (salads) Preparing or chopping fruits and veggies to be eaten later Trips to the dry cleaner Grocery shopping Stocking refrigerator and keeping it organized Dropping of packages at post Light ironing (very rare) Help with occasional entertaining with a small group of people
