Apply at primera.net/careers-with-primera POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Tile, Carpet and Luxury Vinyl Plank installers to join our company. You will lay down a variety of materials based on our client’s specifications, including Wood, LVP, Laminate Plank, Carpet, Sheet Vinyl and Tile in Prescott Arizona and surrounding areas. Other job duties include demolition and removal of existing flooring, transporting materials and equipment, cleaning and preparing the floor surfaces and applying adhesives when necessary. Our company works with large and small residential and commercial projects. You must be proficient in using standard hand and power tools and familiar with different aspects of flooring installation. We are now offering a $500 sign on bonus for this position! PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Prepares surface, and arranges flooring for fit, color, and design. 2. Verify material accuracy, utilizing picking ticket and installation instructions. 3. Install all specified flooring, accessories and required trims in accordance with project specifications. 4. Self-inspect the job upon completion to ensure we meet or exceed expectations and industry standards. 5. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 2. Prior experience as a flooring installer or completion of a relevant apprenticeship 3. Comprehensive knowledge of flooring materials and installation techniques 4. Physical stamina and the ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds 5. Keen attention to detail 6.
