Amateur songwriter with solid musical / theoretical background and above average guitar and singing skills seeks a collaborator for songwriting. Style is blues rock / 70s rock with a quirky spin. Prefer electric but open to acoustic or folky tunes if the mood calls for it. I'm looking for someone who can think creatively, help me finish song ideas, and provide constructive criticism on lyrics and music. I'm not on a timeline, but when an idea is fresh I like to hit it while it's hot. Ideally you also have a few song ideas kicking around as well. I have a decent number of originals that demonstrate my ability to bring an idea to fruition. But these have emerged after molding the ideas on my own -- what I would like to find is someone who's willing to try different ideas and engage until we find something we like. I have the ability to record at home to bounce back ideas. Hit me up!
