GET PAID TO LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY! Why go to college and spend $20k to $40k to learn photography when you can get paid while you learn. WE WILL TEACH YOU: Volume photography Sports photography Event photography Studio photography And more! HOW WILL YOU LEARN? You will learn by doing. You will learn how to take pictures, editing, post production, and image editing & special effects as well. And, you will do this on the job working with fellow photographers and with actual subjects! HOURS The world of photography does not watch the clock. Most days we set up for photoshoots at 7 am or 8 am and are done with the portraits by 1pm. Some days run longer. We do not stop the process when we are in the groove, we just keep going. Sometimes, because we are having so much fun, we actually forget to stop for lunch. What a great way to lose weight! Typical work days and work hours are 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. There are opportunities to work weekends if you really want the creative work. Yup, that's when the real creative shoots happen. LOCATION Almost all work is in San Antonio. Half the time you will work on location at a school, stadium, day care, or inour studio. The other half of the time you will work in production here in our office located near the Pearl Brewery, just north of downtown. Production requires it's own learning process and, yes, you will be paid to learn production and image editing. ADVANCEMENT If you are the one to get hired and make it through at least one year of training, learning, and dedicating yourself to this position, you will then have the opportunity to advance. What does this mean? It means you get to call the shots (pun intended). It means you get more control of your job and your life. It means more pay and more rewards. WHAT TYPE OF PERSON ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for people who have worked with children or worked the floor in retail sales. We want candidates who are use to working with people. You can't be shy if you want to succeed in the world of photography. We want someone who is willing to get silly in order to get the client to smile or tone it down if the client is a shy person. If you are a talker, this may be the right job for you. If you are a photographer and are willing to give up your brand (and business) then we are also interested in you. IS THIS PLACE FOR YOU? Are you the type of person who has a great idea in the middle of the night and then you email yourself that idea so you will not forget your marvelous idea? Then this place is for you. If you like tacos runs, then maybe this place is for you. If you can limit yourself to one margarita (or piña colada) on our group outings, then this might be your kind of place.
